V-Kit 01™

The V-KIT for vertebroplasty includes the following instruments:

• nr. 1 Needle for vertebroplasty V-ACCESS™;
• nr. 1 V-HP Gun.

Osteoporosis and metastasis may weaken the vertebrae to such a point that they fracture by effect of the compression generated by normal everyday activities. This would cause pain and difficulty of movement in the patients.

Percutaneous vertebroplasty is a minimally invasive procedure, aimed to improve the patient’s movement capability treating the symptomatic pain and reducing the risk of new fractures, whereby the vertebra is reinforced and stabilized by direct injection of bone cement under fluoroscopic guidance.
